Prompt: pet paint.

Here’s my entry. WC 143

Luna had to come up with an extraordinary Valentine gift for her mom. But what?  While shopping with her mom she spotted paint for pets in the craft shop. Ooo she thought, I want it. The next day after school she called Rex. He came right away looking for a treat. ‘Sit’ Luna ordered. Out came the paint and soon her masterpiece lay at her feet. Good boy, here’s your treat. She hid Rex in her room waiting for her mom to get back from her meeting for the dog show scheduled for later that evening. Her dog would surely win now. At long last Luna heard the van pull up in the driveway. She ran to the door, Happy Valentine’s Day Mom! Oh, thank you love. I have a surprise, close your eyes. Luna rushed to her bedroom and let Rex out.

Simply 6 minutes to write down my first draft, unedited.

Have fun! I did.

    1. Thanks Christine! I’m happy you enjoyed it. You’re dog must have been very patient. My sisters used to dress up our cat and put her in a pram and stroll down the street. Minette was an amazing cat.
