Picture Book Review- Is My Mom Like Other Moms?

Taken from Amazon

Being different isn’t always easy. Walk through town with a new friend as she sees how her mom is different from other moms and discovers what really makes her the same.

My review

Humera Malik’s picture book, ‘Is My Mom Like Other Moms?

Well, yes, I say. No matter what Moms wear or their ethnic culture worldwide, Moms are always Moms. Humera captures the love between children and their mothers in very few words. The illustrations speak for themselves.

I highly recommend this book for children that have posed the same question.

Read her books and leave a review. It’s important for authors who have worked so hard to get their books out there to receive feedback and reviews.

As a child, I spent my summer holidays by the swamp catching tadpoles and other creepy critters or running after wild animals. I wanted to become a veterinarian when I grew up. But destiny turned my life around - I moved to Italy, where I obtained my BS in Environmental Sciences and Territorial Management. When not working in our family-run business, I write, read, play with clay, doodle, and go on scavenger hunts in the woods, followed by my six cats.
