Pic of the Week 2021 #9 Theme: Spring is in the Air

Spring is definitely around the corner in northern Italy. The early spring flowers show off their colors and compete with each other as to who is the most fragrant. From left to right; Snowdrop flower, Primrose, Crocus.

The wild boars dug up my lawn in search of roots and corms. I only wish they would have plowed my vegetable garden instead. It would have saved me a lot of work. Here’s a shot of what they’re capable of doing with their snouts.

When I was a child, I spent my summer holidays by the swamp catching tadpoles and other creepy critters or running after wild animals. I wanted to become a veterinarian when I grew up. But destiny turned my life around - I moved to Italy where I obtained my BS in Environmental Sciences and Territorial Management. When not working in our family-run business, I write, read, play with clay, doodle, and go on scavenger hunts in the woods followed by my six cats and two dogs.
