Photo Challenge #10 Pretty Little Things

Pretty Little Things

A bit about this pic: I brought my grandchild for a long walk along a torrent. He was so happy to spend an afternoon with Nonna. (Grandma in Italian) We painted rocks with water-washed bricks that we found on our way. He wrote my name on a rock, too. Then he created a happy face, as you can see in the picture. Was he happy? Yep! Precious moments spent with him. The same day we collected a few rocks. They were a bit heavy to bring home, but we made it in the end. I’m grateful to have such a wonderful grandchild.

As a child, I spent my summer holidays by the swamp catching tadpoles and other creepy critters or running after wild animals. I wanted to become a veterinarian when I grew up. But destiny turned my life around - I moved to Italy, where I obtained my BS in Environmental Sciences and Territorial Management. When not working in our family-run business, I write, read, play with clay, doodle, and go on scavenger hunts in the woods, followed by my six cats.
