Doll Trouble by Kim Larson is a charming story that celebrates the special bond between a child and a cherished toy. Many children have a favorite doll or stuffed animal that brings them comfort, confidence, and companionship, and Emma’s beloved doll, Mia, is no exception.
When Mia goes missing and an unexpected mishap occurs, Emma discovers that some things are worth fixing rather than replacing. Her determination and unwavering love for her doll offer a gentle reminder that the things we treasure most often carry memories that cannot be bought.
The original, striking illustrations beautifully complement the story, adding warmth and emotion to every page. This heartfelt picture book is a lovely celebration of friendship, loyalty, and the enduring value of caring for the things, and the memories, we hold close.
“This story reminds us that love isn’t about having something new, it’s about cherishing what already holds a special place in our hearts.”

This is a great book! I really enjoyed the girls and the way the doll is fixed up instead of tossed away. Favorite toys are well loved, and they usually look like they’ve been well loved!
