Have Yourself a Very Merry Christmas Time-Buone Feste

Hello all! I hope you are all well and safe. Thank goodness we’re saying goodbye to 2020 soon. It’s been a difficult year for all of us. I would like to thank my followers and critique groups that helped me along the way. For those of you who don’t know me, I write books for children among other things. I would like to thank SCBWI for all of their free workshops and authors that shared their stories online. And all the hard work publishers and bookstores went through so we could hold our little books in our hands. Thank goodness we have internet, could you imagine this pandemic happening in the 70s?

So, let’s cheer up and have fun during this holiday season. Let us be thankful that we are still here and hanging on. Let us greet 2021 hoping it will bring us some relief from our pain and sorrows. Let us be positive thinkers, we will survive and flourish next year. We will do things with another perspective; we will be stronger and wiser.

Hey! By the way, I’ll be …? On Christmas Day. Women never, ever say how old they are. I’ll give you a hint, I’m a baby boomer, yikes!

Ciao a tutti! Spero che stiate bene e al sicuro. Grazie al cielo, presto salutiamo il 2020. È stato un anno difficile per tutti noi. Vorrei ringraziare i miei seguaci e i gruppi di critica che mi hanno aiutato lungo la strada. Per quelli di voi che non mi conoscono, scrivo libri per bambini tra le altre cose. Vorrei ringraziare SCBWI per tutti i loro workshop e autori che hanno condiviso le loro storie online. E tutto il duro lavoro svolto dagli editori e dalle librerie per poter tenere i nostri piccoli libri nelle nostre mani. Grazie al cielo abbiamo internet, riuscite a immaginare se questa pandemia fosse avvenuta negli anni ’70?

Quindi, rallegriamoci e divertiamoci durante queste festività natalizie. Ringraziamo di essere ancora qui e di resistere. Salutiamo il 2021 sperando che ci porti un po ‘di sollievo dal nostro dolore e perdite. Cerchiamo di essere pensatori positivi, sopravvivremo e prospereremo il prossimo anno. Faremo le cose con un’altra prospettiva; saremo più forti e più saggi.

Hey! A proposito, compio…? Il giorno di Natale. Le donne non dicono mai e poi mai quanti anni hanno.

As a child, I spent my summer holidays by the swamp catching tadpoles and other creepy critters or running after wild animals. I wanted to become a veterinarian when I grew up. But destiny turned my life around - I moved to Italy, where I obtained my BS in Environmental Sciences and Territorial Management.     1. Thanks Angie! I’m thinking of pulling it down after the Epiphany. It was my gift for the holiday season. Not sure I should or not, what are your thoughts? I’m preparing other free downloadable activities to add to my, For Kids page. Wishing you a prosperous and healthy New Year.

      1. I’m not sure. It might depend on how long you have publisher permission to leave it up. You could certainly do another build up and let readers know it will be taken down (give the date) so go and enjoy now. Maybe a blog post telling some part of how you came up with the story or some fascinating tidbit. Then invite them to go and watch. Good idea for the downloadables! Wishing you a prosperous and healthy New Year as well!
