#50 Photo Challenge- Clear Skies

Lavagna, Italy

This is the Lavagna harbor. I love the sea and swimming, and one of these days, I’ll sail the sea on my tiny sailboat, which I would baptize, Krill. I used to scuba dive, and the nocturnal dives were the best. There’s so much life underwater at night.

Wishing you all Happy Holidays!

As a child, I spent my summer holidays by the swamp catching tadpoles and other creepy critters or running after wild animals. I wanted to become a veterinarian when I grew up. But destiny turned my life around - I moved to Italy, where I obtained my BS in Environmental Sciences and Territorial Management. When not working in our family-run business, I write, read, play with clay, doodle, and go on scavenger hunts in the woods, followed by my six cats.

  1. Gorgeous! I’ve only been snorkeling one time on Kauai, Hawaii. It was amazing! I don’t know that I would like the night diving though!

    1. I think diving is like being an astronaut. You glide through the water. At night time you can caress the octopus and with your flashlight on, the krill attracted by light swim toward you. It’s magical.

    1. Thank you Marian. I hope all is well with you. Warm wishes for a happy holiday season. Take care.
