Time for Elderflower Syrup!

It’s that time of year again, and I’ve picked the elderflowers and made my syrup.

There’s nothing like elderflower syrup to quench your thirst. It’s been pretty cold in Italy lately, but today we have a high 29°Celcius, 84°F today.

I haven’t posted much this month. I’ve been pretty busy trying to organize my book launch. More about that later.

This morning, my dog decided it was late and woke me up at 6 am. Good thing, I got a lot of work done outdoors. It was a nice break from work. I finally planted my veggies in the vegetable garden and cut the grass. Plus I made this flavorsome syrup.

As a child, I spent my summer holidays by the swamp catching tadpoles and other creepy critters or running after wild animals. I wanted to become a veterinarian when I grew up. But destiny turned my life around - I moved to Italy, where I obtained my BS in Environmental Sciences and Territorial Management. When not working in our family-run business, I write, read, play with clay, doodle, and go on scavenger hunts in the woods, followed by my six cats.
