Finalmente si parte! E’ pronto il programma generale della manifestazione “viaggiAMO con I LIBRI“, fortemente voluta dall’Amministrazione Comunale e in particolare dall’ Assessore alla Cultura Nicoletta Cucinella. L’evento è frutto della collaborazione con l’attivo Sistema Bibliotecario Tortonese ed è organizzato con l’importante supporto dell’Associazione Librialsole avendo l’ambizioso obiettivo di promuovere la cultura, i libri e la lettura. La Rassegna parte domani a Viguzzolo e si snoderà in alcuni comuni aderenti al Sistema di Tortona. La tappa arquatese parte con le due giornate del 18 e 19 giugno prossimi e continuerà nell’estate (già fissato un incontro con la scrittrice Raffaella Romagnolo al 23 luglio).
“Come prima più di prima” è il motto che ci siamo dati pensando ad organizzare l’estate arquatese, giunta ormai alle porte. Lo stesso sprono è valido anche per l’evento in oggetto, considerando che la rassegna era già fissata lo scorso anno ma è rimasta bruscamente interrotta dal primo lockdown. Molte le proposte in programma, che nel frattempo si è arricchito ed allargato a tutte le fasce di pubblico:
- confermata la Fiera del Libro, con la presenza di molti editori locali e non solo…
- e ancora Presentazioni di libri per adulti e ragazzi con la partecipazione di diversi autori;
- Proposte varie per bambini tra cui un incontro con Eleanor Ann Peterson per divertirsi con il suo libro in inglese ‘Jurassic Rat’ (lingua madre dell’autrice) e a seguire attività creative a tema; poi un Laboratorio artistico sulla tecnica del mosaico con Valentina Biletta (chi è interessato a partecipare a quest’ultimo deve inviare una mail entro il prossimo 14 giugno a: <biblioteca@comune.arquatascrivia.al.it>).
Si ricorda che tutti gli altri appuntamenti non sono su prenotazione, ma gli ingressi saranno comunque contingentati – fino a esaurimento posti disponibili – secondo le normative antiCovid vigenti.
A corollario della manifestazione un importante appuntamento culturale: nella mattina del 19 giugno l’Apertura della Mostra che vuole celebrare i 50 anni di attività artistica di Enrico Debenedetti, artista arquatese che ha raggiunto questo traguardo ragguardevole nel 2020, attraverso l’esposizione delle sue opere più significative nell’atrio del Palazzo Municipale che rimarrà allestita per i successivi 15 giorni. – Il nostro grande artista arquatese va valorizzato e soprattutto festeggiato, siete quindi tutti invitati – aggiunge l’assessore Cucinella.
E per non farsi mancare nulla… lungo le vie, a prenotazione, le proposte enogastronomiche a tema con gli AperiLibri proposti dalle attività commerciali arquatesi a partire dalle ore 19 nelle serate concomitanti.
We are finally taking off! The general program of the event “viaggiAMO con I LIBRI” is strongly supported by the Municipal Administration and particularly by the Councilor for Culture Nicoletta Cucinella. The event is the result of collaboration with the active Tortona Library System. It is organized with the vital support of the Librialsole Association with the ambitious goal of promoting culture, books, and reading. The Review starts tomorrow in Viguzzolo and will unfold in some municipalities adhering to the Tortona system. In Arquata, it begins as of 18 and 19 June and will continue through the summer (a meeting with writer Raffaella Romagnolo has already been scheduled for July 23).
“Like before, more than before” is the motto that we set ourselves while organizing the Arquatese summer, which is now upon us. The same spur is also valid for the event in question, considering that the exhibition was already scheduled for last year but was abruptly interrupted by the first lockdown. There are many proposals on the program, which in the meantime have been enriched and extended to all audiences:
• Book Fair, with the presence of many local publishers and more …
• and also book presentations for adults and children with the participation of various authors;
• Various proposals for children, including a meeting with Eleanor Ann Peterson and her book in English ‘Jurassic Rat’ (mother tongue of the author) and followed with themed creative activities; then an artistic workshop on the mosaic technique with Valentina Biletta (those interested in participating in the latter must send an email by June 14 to: <biblioteca@comune.arquatascrivia.al.it>).
Please note that reservation is not needed for all other events, but admissions will still be limited – subject to availability of seats – according to the anti-Covid regulations in force.
A corollary of the event is an important cultural event. On the morning of June 19, the Opening of the Exhibition which aims to celebrate the 50 years of artistic activity of Enrico Debenedetti, an artist from Arquata, who reached this remarkable milestone in 2020 through the exhibition of his works most significant in the atrium of the Town Hall which will remain set up for the next 15 days. – Our great artist from Arquata must be valued, and above all celebrated, so you are all invited – adds Councilor Cucinella.
And in order not to miss anything … along the streets, upon reservation, the themed food and wine proposals with the AperiLibri proposed by the towns commercial activities starting at 7 pm on the associated evenings.
