2022 Pic of the Week #33- Water – Acqua

Theme. Water-Acqua-Val Borbera,Vignole Borbera

I took this pic on a nature walk with my grandchild last December in Vignole Borbera, Province of Alessandria, Italy. We spent a lovely day together, and his rock art showed how much he appreciated our excursion in the wild. We discovered animal footprints and how to write on a rock with a piece of brick. As the sun set, he insisted we bring the rocks home. They weren’t tiny either. But he trudged along holding his stone, and when we got home, he just had to show his parents the treasures we found.

Spending time with our grandchildren makes us feel younger. Do you agree?

Siete d’accordo?

When I was a child, I spent my summer holidays by the swamp catching tadpoles and other creepy critters or running after wild animals. I wanted to become a veterinarian when I grew up. But destiny turned my life around - I moved to Italy where I obtained my BS in Environmental Sciences and Territorial Management. When not working in our family-run business, I write, read, play with clay, doodle, and go on scavenger hunts in the woods followed by my six cats and two dogs.
