2020 Photo Challenge – La Sfida Fotografica

We visited this place years ago. What you see is the protected cruiser Puglia jutting out of one of the hilltops. It was placed there with it’s bow pointing in the direction of the Adriatic sea ready to conquest the Dalmation shores. When we’ll all be free to leave our homes and travel once again, The Vittoriale degli Italiani should be included on your itinerary. The Italian poet Gabriele D’Annunzio lived here. It’s situated on a hillside estate in the town of Gardone Riviera overlooking the Garda Lake.
